1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using First Flush ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

First Flush is a web-based mushroom cultivation tracking and community platform. The Service provides tools for logging grows, managing cultures, browsing species information, and participating in community discussions. All species information is provided for educational and mycological research purposes.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws regarding the cultivation, possession, and distribution of any mushroom species tracked using this platform. Certain species listed in our database may be restricted or illegal to cultivate in your jurisdiction.
  • Not use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity.

4. Legal Compliance & Controlled Species

First Flush includes species information for educational purposes only. Some species in our database contain compounds classified as controlled substances in many jurisdictions. The inclusion of any species in our database does not constitute encouragement, endorsement, or approval of its cultivation.

It is solely your responsibility to research and comply with all laws that apply to you before cultivating any species. Laws regarding psilocybin-containing mushrooms and other controlled species vary significantly by country, state, province, and municipality. First Flush is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your use of the Service.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on the Service (grow logs, forum posts, photos, etc.). By posting content, you grant First Flush a non-exclusive license to display that content within the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Service to buy, sell, or trade controlled substances.
  • Post content that promotes illegal drug manufacturing or distribution.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage or impair its operation.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Species information, cultivation parameters, and contamination guidance are provided for general reference and may not be accurate for all conditions. First Flush does not guarantee the success of any cultivation activities.

8. Limitation of Liability

First Flush shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to legal consequences of cultivating restricted species, crop failures, contamination losses, or reliance on species information provided by the Service.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for illegal purposes. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
